We are receiving a large number of calls about setting up service groups and service group heads and want to use the blog to address a number of issues that are coming up around this.
When to use service groups?
If you want one person to edit one questionnaire then the service group option over complicates the issue and we would recommend delegating the questionnaires on the list service entries page and NOT using service groups.
If you want one person to coordinate and take responsibility for a number of questionnaires then do set up a service group for them to lead and please remember to assign the services to the service group on the list service entries page.
It is important to remember that you must link your service groups to the questionnaires on the list services entries page. If you do not link your services to service groups then your group heads will not be able to edit the questionnaires.
